Branchburg, NJ – Six local taekwondo students from Raritan Valley ATA (RVATA) participated at the annual ATA Fall Nationals tournament in Pittsburgh, PA. The tournament offers the highest level competition outside of World Championships in July.
This year, three of the six RVATA students medalled during competition.
Michael Aiello, 1st Degree Black Belt – 2nd Place Forms & 2nd Place Sparring
Darian Patel, Purple Belt – 1st Place Forms, 1st Place Weapons & 2nd Place Combat Weapons Sparring
Devin Patel, 1st Degree Black Belt – 3rd Place Combat Weapons Sparring
The Fall Nationals tournament also offered students and instructors multiple opportunities to continue their training with new, innovative programs as well as test for higher ranks.
