(Branchburg, NJ) — Raritan Valley ATA (RVATA), a martial arts school located in Branchburg, NJ, has become a registered partner for Mission: Kid Success (MKS). MKS has recognized RVATA’s ability to create an inclusive learning environment and deliver high-level adaptive curriculum for students and families dealing with a variety of autism challenges.
“We’re excited to become a partner with Mission: Kid Success and to help member families alleviate some of the financial burden while getting tremendous physical and mental benefits for their children,” says RVATA’s Founder Brian Peterson, who began studying at age 10 and is now a 5th degree Black Belt and Weapons World Champion. “Our school strives to make all feel welcome and promote inclusive curriculum. We feel the entire community benefits through healthy mental and physical activity, and by seeing our neighbors overcome challenges to achieve amazing things.”
MKS has granted a family with a full year tuition to train at RVATA as part of their program, which includes instilling confidence, discipline, and focus for all students. Together, these partnered organizations seek to not only support this family, but all families in the community. The grant will allow the family to participate in classes, numerous training seminars, and tournament competitions designed specifically with special needs athletes in mind.
A member of the American Taekwondo Association, RVATA teaches Songahm Taekwondo and life skills through the decades of combined experience of it’s instructor team. The school is led by nationally certified instructors who are continually training in best instructional practices and safety standards derived from the ATA’s 700+ independently owned & operated locations. RVATA also benefits from on-going involvement in the ATA international tournament circuit allowing students and staff to challenge themselves physically against the best in the World.
